Your baby is still REALLY, REALLY tiny. In the fifth week, the fetus is only about 1/2 inch long and weighs about 1/4 ounce. Here's a site that can help you learn about your baby's growth and development week-by-week:

Yes, it can be very normal. Especially with morning sickness, some women loose a lot of weight at first. Since each woman is different, it depends. General rule of thumb is 2-5 lbs the first trimester then 1 lb a week after that. It's not always the case though.
I gain 10lbs the minute I see a positive pregnancy stick, literally. Then I don't gain any weight the second trimester at all, finally at about the last 10 weeks I start to put on about a lb a week, so it all works out in the end.
Try not to stress too much over the weight issue. Take advantage of all the good fruits and veggies of summer and munch away. I personally love melon and cold salads!

A lot of women tend to actually lose a little weight at this time due to morning sickness. Give it a couple of months and you will start gaining weight. Your OB is monitoring your weight, if there is a problem he/she will tell you so relax and enjoy your pregnancy. If there is anything you are unsure don't hesitate to ask your OB or call. That's what they are there for. They would much rather have you ask them than put you and your baby at risk!
Congratulations and enjoy!
