I am 16 and I recently got one on the 1st of april but with prepaid cells so cheap now everyone practically has one I paid $20 for a tracfone and it serves as a good fone 4 me so practically anyone of any age can get a cellphone because of tracfone one of the best cellphone providers out there w/ no bills fees contracts or age limits etc. it puts a cellphone in the hands of people you never thought would have one including myself I never pictured myself having one but when I have a job you'd be surprised how much I need it. and all you have to do is add a 60 minute or more card every 60 days and a 60 min card is $20 so I get cell service for $10 a month which is way cheaper then $40 for a monthly bill plus promotional codes for additional free minutes like this past saturday I bought a 60min card and put in a code that gave me 30min so in turn I got 50% more minutes!! isnt that awesome?

well, im 13 and some of my friends have cell phones, but i have a lot of friends. and to all the people whos saying we dont need them, shut the hell up! i can garuentte that when you have a teenageer that youll get them one so you know where the hell they are at all times. and giving a teenage girl a cell phone doesnt tie up the house phone so u can go off and talk to who ever you want, with out getting youre kid pissed at you

Way too many. At my kids school they are not even allowed to have a cell phone in their possession during school hours. If it is seen at any time it will be confiscated.

So few teens today *don't* have cell phones it seems like. Hell, lots of *grade schoolers* have cell phones.
