There's that many scams that it would be impossible for any one site to list them all. The advice I usually give to people is to type the name of the product/service into a search engine and see what results come up. In the majority of cases if it's a scam someone, somewhere will be on to it and there'll be helpful pages available.
There's certain signs that help to indicate if a website is a scam or not. If it's a reputable organization that's behind it then the site should include full contact info including e-mail, phone and address details. If a site isn't prepared to provide this information then I'd be suspicious.
You can also see which other sites link to it - use Yahoo search and enter the word link followed by a colon (:) followed by the URL of the website, this will show which other sites are linking in and this is often a good indication as to the reliability of a site.
If you're suspicious then e-mail them first (preferably using a one-off web-based e-mail address) and ask them to provide you with confirmation that they're a legitimate concern.
If there's a particular site or sites you might want to post another question specifying the sites concerned.

A good rule of thumb is, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!
There are a few sites like this, but as soon as a scam is posted, it disappears, because these creeps don't want to get caught.
Any site asking you to provide money upfront for anything is a scam, particularly if they want a money order or a check.
Be smart.
Think about it.

Snopes.com may be helpful for you.
Also, you may try doing Yahoo searches using the title of the webpage to see if it has come up in any articles or forums as fraudulent.
