Its a natural instinctive thing for women.

It comes with all the hormones that we are blessed with as women. The human race would never have survived if women didnt have that want for babies.

Its just like how men feel the need to sleep with lots of different women.

They are just instincts that we were given to keep the species alive!

It's just who that person is. Some may say it's the estrogen, but that would not explain why 5 year old girls love babies and 5 year old boys would rather kiss a frog. Some might say it's culture, but we all live pretty much in the same country, and I know alot of women who have a complete aversion to the idea of a child of their own. Personally, if my babies weren't gigantic at birth, I'd have a cool dozen!

Children want babies because they're missing something in their lives...usually a parent, or feel they're unloved. They think that the only way they'll feel love is if they have a baby. Women want babies because they have a nurturing side. They want to take care of someone.

I don't know. It's just a drive that is there in most women.

I wasn't missing anything from my childhood or any issues like that. And a baby's love is ABSOLUTELY CONDITIONAL....LOL. (conditional on their diaper/food/nap status).

I just knew that I wanted to have children with my husband. I wanted the chance to raise hilarious, positive, caring people. Probably to cancel out the idiots in this world...LOL.

I can't imagine life without my children. I mean, I had a quart of twizzler barf puked up on me last night and I didn't flinch. I kissed his head and cleaned him and the mess up. And held him all night. It's amazing....

When I was growing up, I thought that I didn't want to have children, either. Then I got pregnant. My mood changed. Just looking at this precious gift from God, and knowing that they totally depend on me, gave me the power and strength to get my s*** together in my life. I have three beautiful versions of me, and I love every single one of them. I wouldn't change that for the world. I got what I got because of them, and I am happy for that.

That was put in women so that the world would not die out ...If no woman wanted to have kids then the human race would be no more.

Babies are cute, and so lovable. They do not talk bad to you! People want babies to carry on their family name. I just wanted children because I love them so much. Mostly because they are just so cute and lovable. They are alot of work too, but that is what goes with Motherhood.

because its in our nature and history and its a beautiful thing to share with our partner like u can say me and him created this child. we have bilogical clocks that tick, we want to pass on our genes and family names, we want to have babies lol. not all women are baby crazy and now many women are waiting until later on in liffe..its the natural progression of the world, people have babies the world goes on.... we have special chemicals and hormones.

I don't know. I am a woman, 35 years old, and have never felt it. I think I don't have a biological clock ticking away.
