Just what it says. In history, people unwilling and or unable to fight warring attackers lost the mortal prize, lost life, home, and look way back, before the Cro-Magnons to the I'hins..oh they had their gains in heaven..but on earth they got wiped out. Archeologists have on occasion found their skulls, bones, but they were wiped out. Not every animal and not every human, is made to attack and defend and win. Among animals the deer and the rabbit etc. run away; the lion and the tiger fight and win.

I think it is very true.
We have slowly been losing who we as a nation are.
We meekly give it all away trying to be nice to people that just jerk it out of our hand
and demand more instead of being grateful or even polite.I for one am sick of it .
Our government is to blame for most of it . We based this country on the Bible and God ,
now, that is not good enough we might offend someone ,well then let them leave .!
We must stand strong .

It means that we must each commit himself to die rather than to live in fear. It is courage and wisdom, not just bullets or bombs, with which we must confront the enemies of freedom. War is sometimes but not often necessary. It's not enough to send our soldiers away to fight for us. We must each be as ready to die to protect our way of life as our enemies are to destroy it. We must each arm himself with a righteous life and unanswerable reason. So long as we stand firmly on God's side, He is invincibly on our side. Collective strength cannot make up for personal weakness, and national bluster cannot make up for personal cowardice,

Well it justifies war in order to preserve freedom. This still leaves the question of when is preservation needed and when is it none of our business?
WW2 was worth it, Iraq is not.
