It's just so damn painful I can't handle it anymore. I hate these creams and shaving. I have to go with either waxing or the silk-appeal machine. what should I do!?

One of the best ways I've found is to take 2 ibuprofen and 2 acetaminophen about half an hour before. Then, about 10 minutes before waxing, use some sunburn relief spray with lidocaine. Just before waxing, wash the spray off (the lidocaine has already absorbed) and wax. You can spray the waxed skin again after waxing, and it will help relieve any discomfort. After waxing my legs for several years following this method, I only have to wax about every 6 weeks now, and the hair is really fine and light.

There area few things you can do.

You can take a couple of Advil 15-20 minutes before waxing.

Also, there is a numbing spray specifically made for waxing. It too takes about 20 minutes to reach it's full effectiveness (GiGi Honee makes one and you can usually find it in beauty supply stores, or look online).

Try not to wax a week prior to, or during your period. The skin is most sensitive then causing waxing to hurt a lot more.

Good luck!

Yea, take codeine, if it's allowed. If not then try any good painkiller. Or else get rat-arsed.
