While that might be possible, you would do better to call the customer service department of the company the cellphone is for. There is no need to involve a middle man.

yea you can. it just gotta be done with the company that manufactured the phone. example... if you have a sprint and your phone broke and your friend had an extra one lying around and gave it to you. just call customer service and tell them that you need to change phones, they'll let you know exactly what to do. but you gotta make sure that nothing is owed on that phone's account!

You can take that phone to the cell phone dealer that provides that phone. However, you should be careful if that phone has any charges from the previous owner you will have to pay them before you can store service to that phone.

Only if the phone is compatible with the carrier. Also, if it's a GSM phone, it either has to be locked to the carrier you're using (like cingular) or sim unlocked to work on sim cards for all GSM carriers (t-mobile, cingular, etc).

Yes, as long as the service provider at your local Wal-Mart supports whatever model of phone you bought.

You should be able to if Alltel is the company you want cellular service through. The companies don't care where you buy your phone, they just want your contract.

YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT SERVICE THE PHONE IS AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANY, WHY WALMART.
