So for me and my friends 16th birthday party we were thinking about having a "White Party" meaning as you only dress in white. What would be some good decoration ideas? Should my friend and I dress in bright colors but everyone else white?

I've thrown a Black and White and Red ALL OVER party, where you were required to wear black and/or white outfits and then we served only red treats--

Red wine
Red candy
Red cake
etc.

You could do something like that. To keep with the theme of all white, however, I think you should dress in white, too, since you're throwing the party. Imagine the embarassment your first guest will feel when they see you, the host, in a bright color, and the birthday girl in a birght color, and here they are wearing white!

Decoration ideas:
White tuelle with twinkly lights underneath
White tablecloths
White candles
etc.

Alright, so you go down to home depot and buy painters plastic splatter guard sheets. You can get giant rolls of them or in boxes. Some come 16ft X 20ft but they have all different sizes. You need enough to cover every room and every wall that your going to have this party in.

Second... While you’re at home depot you need to pick up white spray paint. And your going to need a lot of this.

Can you guess what your going to do? Good. Now I don't recommend painting the plastic sheets inside the house. I don't know... I could see something going wrong with that. Paint them out side and bring them in.

Cover the walls, carpet, furniture, TVs, Everything.. The next thing you want is a lot of light. Florescent bulbs work best. 3800-4100K color bulbs. That will give you the extra white blinding look you want.

Now for some more fun. Snow. Yes… Snow. For this you need a paper shredder and white paper. You want to have white paper because it’s a white party. Now you need a lot of it because its only cool if the whole house is covered in snow… not just one room. Some shredders only make strips of paper, you want the one that makes little squares. Now you may be worried about the mess… Its ok. You put plastic down first so the paper snow will be easy to clean up. Now…. How you make it snow. Because no one the ground is cool… But falling snow is better.

You need balloons. Lots of balloons w/ helium. You put the paper snow inside the balloon, blow it up, and let it float on the ceiling. When people pop them, and you’ll tell them to do so all at the same time… Velva, snow. You’ll feel like your in a snow bubble.

Get your self some white face makeup or masks and you should be set.
