What are Major sports that does not have cheerleaders? For ex. soccer, they SHOULD have them, right? Your Opinion? Why or Why not? Also, is USA the only country with cheerleader? List the other countries with them.

I thought the reason for having cheerleaders was to occupy the spectators when the players were just walking around the field, as opposed to playing the game. You need that a lot in American Football because the players are only doing stuff for about half the time between the kick off and the final whistle. Whereas, "Rest of the World" football is mostly continuous action, so cheerleaders would be a waste of time.

Let's see...for mainline sports....Soccer - no Cheerleaders, as well as Tennis and Golf.
Should they? No.
But then again, I find Cheerleaders to be annoying to be honest.
Also, sports like Olympian Tae Kwon Do have no cheerleaders....and things like Mixed Martial arts competitions like the UFC or Pride (no irritating Cheerleaders but they do have attractive ring-girls!)

There is no need to cheerleaders.....It doesnt enhance the game or anything...just a waste of bimbos
