He sat there like a statue, almost the entire Match.
at one point he was watching the crowd, rather than the Game.
Why was he not, up on the line shouting encouragement to his Players.
Or even some instructions.

I really don't know .. That coach SUCKS big time , he had no facial expressions what so ever during the entire match . If the USA continue this poor form they won't have a chance against Italy or even the Black Stars of africa ( Ghana ) .

He makes changes from the bench. Of course, we did it see that. For example, Beasley was switched from the right side position to the left side position. This types of changes are not made unless the coach gives the ok. During the match, the captain is the one that controls the game and looks at the coach for any changes.

The way he coached today is the way he coaches when they win as well.

Bruce Arena took over after the 1998 disaster in France. He was coaching DC United in MLS prior to becoming the US National coach.

Of course...it is required that all players and coaches to know about 3 other languages.

He needs to let his players learn his lesson, losing this game puts them in a bad situation and they have to pull it off if they want to be remember as a good team. I do believe we have the players and the experience to pull something off against Italy, but we need to keep the spirits up.

I think they got him from Britain. I know; I watched the game too and saw how he wasn't really interested. I'm an American and HE SUCKS!!!!!! If you gotta have a coach, make it be from your own country.
