They claims that the show’s jokes, often absurd, out-of-continuity cutaways, are interchangeable and have nothing to do with the plot. But isn't that why we like it?

I think so, South Park is running out of jokes and things to make fun of.

no, not really. These people answering have no idea what they are talking about, don't work there,etc. They are just naming assumptions. I honestly think the whole episode about Family Guy was just a fun little joke. There were many articles about that episode ("Cartoon Wars, Part 1,2), and they said they were trying more to justify what they did (look it up), not make fun of family guy. Remember the whole part about free speech, or how all of america was to stick their heads in the sand and 'hide" from their problems? Under all the jokes and crude humor, I think the writers of south park were trying to get a legitimate point across. I like family Guy better anyway.

Yes, because the fans of South Park are declining and the fans of Family Guy are growing and growing...kind of like Stewie's plans for world domination, or Brian's alcohol problem, or Meg's hatred of her family. hahaha Family Guy is a great show! :)

I don't think they are jealous. I think that are concerned with the ratings and following. But I think that it may be good for them so they can keep their shows fresh. Competition is always good in a ny business. I love both shows equally.

no offense, but i don't like family guy and i am OBSESSED with south park. its the best show that has ever been created in my opinion. and i don't know if they're jealous of family guy but i hope they aren't becuz they're better anyway. once again, no offense.

Of course not. But both shows are really for the intellectually challenged, anyway---too low-brow for most....unless you're a chav. (For the Americans members of Yahoo! Answers, a "chav" is someone who is uneducated and uncultured).
