You're going to Florida and worried that you're going to get bored. Wow

Well, Florida is A LOT of fun.
Things to take if flying: book, iPOD or MP3 player, DVD Player (with movies!)
Things to take if driving (are you driving by yourself? or with someone?) : book, some extra food, headache medicine
If you are staying at a Hotel, then bring some good movies and some extra cash for the gift shop.
If you are staying with family, then bring a camera and a book to read late at night.
If you are going to a Amusement Park (a.k.a. Disney World, Busch Gardens, Six Flags) bring sunscreen, extra cash and a camera.
Make sure to watch out for the Hurricane, Alberto!

well are you driving or flying?
I drive there every year from CT. and it takes about 24 hours max. I usually take a portable dvd player, a really good book, and music.
In florida itself you won't get bored, there is alot to do. Even if you can't find anything sit back, read, and enjoy the beach.

Don't bring anything, go exploring. Find our before hand, Museums, Historical sights, IMAX, etc, have fun.
