Zombiecupcake took the words right out of my mouth. Get rid of the carpet and padding. Before you lay new down paint the floor with a sealer. Use Coke-a-cola on concrete floors to get rid of the smell, pour it on and let it sit for 20 minutes before you sop it up. And for wood floors, sand them and refinish.
Beware! If you have central heating cats have been known to urinate in the floor vents. Either have the ducting replaced (expensive) or spray an orange-oil based cleaner in the duct work and let it sit. It will mask the odor until the orange-oil breaks it down. Don't pour Coke in the ducts!
Good luck mate,

If you have carpet the first step is to get rid of it and any padding under it. Who knows what else is living in it anyway. If there are hardwood floors or cement (like in a basement) clean everything really well with bleach. The smell will go away but it usually takes some work.

Most likely its under the house or under a cabinet. Bring in another cat. HA HA or maybe a dog. Sounds funny but it might actually work! And my sis said there id a cleaner call Urine B Gone. She had her Male cat spray under her kitchen cab int and she said it works.

Go to your local novelty store and purchase a blacklight. While dark at night, turn off the lights, turn on the blacklight. The urine stains will be quite visible. I had a friend who recently had this problem after renting a new place.

Ok when you find it with the black light as they suggested, use white vinegar mixed with hot water and a drop of dish detergent to try and get the smell out or your going to have to replace the whole carpet.
White vinegar is your best hope.

It's either there is cat pee or it's just the cat.Cos whenever our cats jump into the engine for heat and the next day we turn on the air conditioning in the car,it starts smelling like cat pee but it isnt,it's just the smell of cats.

As they all said, after you find it you'll have to rip out carpet and padding. I had to use a special sealer on the subfloor when I bought my house: B.I.N sealer, the one for animal smells.

Bring in a dog, or borrow the neighbors dog. He'll find it for you!
