I like Isaiah, I'm 17 wks. pregnant and if it's a boy I too am considering the name Isaiah. I love the way it sounds, & the meaning is very special. William is too common, although Isaiah is also an old name, but I don't really come across many people with the name Isaiah.

Why not Isaiah William or William Isaiah? Both sound very classy and are not too unique or too overused.

I think both are great names. How about Isaiah for the first name and William as the middle name? Both are great...whichever one you choose will be perfect.

I'm partial to Isaiah. My 2 yr olds name is Izaiah I changed the s to a z to give an old name a new twist. We call him Izzy for short. He's my little rock star. His full name is Izaiah James Wynn (2 middle names)

I like Isaiah, but if I were you, I would choose the name that sounded best with my last name, make sure it flows nicely, because as a boy, he gets that name for life!!

Isaiah is a strong name. It means: The Lord is generous. Salvation of the Lord. God's helper.
