Snail Mail is term that means, post, the (old fashioned way of contacting people). However it is the only (including Currier's) way of delivering objects, because it is physically impossible, to breakdown matter into millions of tiny electron particles and send them through a telephone line and it gets put back together at the other end.

Traditional mail as opposed to e(lectronic) mail. It is obviously a lot slower, hence the nickname.
