Chavez and the new power houses in Latin America are finaly taking a stand. For way to long the natural resources that many regions in S. America depend on our being controlled and being ran by American Companies while the poor farmer makes crap and the americans just get richer.
The US is just scared because they dont want Latin america to be influenced by Chavez and Evo for giving light to S.America. They are worried that they will create an axis of evil with Cuba and Fidel. They should have the right to impose higher taxes on natural resource and have the right to nationalize natural goods that our being controlled and ran by other countries.Which will never happend. S.America has many riches but suffors in its riches because the wealth isn't being spread right. AMERICA always wants a cut! If the US is supporting anti-CHavez terrorists it's probaly being supported by the CIA. I love the US but i hate their politics. I love my roots from S.America but i hate how poor it is when it can actualy be a great country with its riches.

the "war on terror" is governmental rhetoric for anyone opposing government policies. Russia called the conflict in Chechnya its "war on terror" and India called the Kashmir issue the same.

As far as Chavez is not supported because he wanted to use there national resources for the good of its citizens, the oil riches will be used to develop the country (nationalization of oil). Oil nationalization is not something America and the american oil tycoons are fond of.......therefore Chavez is a "terrorist"

Because Chavez is worse then any terrorist. Do some more research and you'll see why. Especially reference his "Death Squads"

Because they don't like Chavez leadership. He is pretty commie like.

US is choosy. They refuse to admit Cuba exists because it took power in bloody struggle. China did the same thing but the US admits they exist.

Ugh people, I keep telling you, its not war ON terror. It's war OF terror. In the mean time, "Private military contractors are earning billions of dollars in Iraq -- much of it from U.S. taxpayers." -CNN
