I'm sick of the lies we see on the news, sick of the brainwash facilities known as schools, sick of the gas prices, sick of people going along with all of it, and most of all, I'm sick and tired of all of the bullshit.
Pretty soon, there is going to be a revolt and the party is really going to be set in motion.
We need to set an example, to show the government who really runs this place before they think of an even greater way to brainwash all of us.
My question is: How can it be done? How can these wheels be set in motion? How can we be victorious?

Are you serious? I can't possibly mastermind a complete overthrow of the United States government through a blog and a chat room. Stop speaking nonsense!

Convince the military to join my side? You're suggesting that I make an attempt to turn this country's offense and defense against them? You're a genius, and must join me.

You know, we tried that a lot in the late 1960's. We even had a favorite song entitled "Revolution". I wish I could remember who sang it because it sure was loved. I can hear it in my mind even now 35 - 40 years later, and I wish I could remember enough of it to remember who sang it. Oh, but, back to the revolution. Well, we made a lot of noise, and messed up a lot of peoples' lives with free drugs and sex, and long hair and marching in the streets and messing up national political conventions and such, and we got paid attention to as well. Maybe we shouldn't have been so much against the military in Vietnam. Maybe they would've joined our side, but, we goofed there. And, let's see where we are now. Well, we let the democrats run one of our most effective Presidents, Nixon, out of office, for some "break-in" and wiretapping that's childs' play compared to what they themselves have done in the 1990's and threaten to do in the 2000's. And we've had some of the most powerful presidents since then, one of whom was the overwhelming "mastermind" behind overthrowing our Cold War nemesis, and others who have held Hitler-wannabee's at bay, and we're now the well recognized "one and only" Super-Power in the world, albeit still needing constant improvement, and we have the strongest economy in the world. And all our "revolution" compadres who stayed back there in the mode of the late 1960's are just a bunch of washed out old hippies. You want a revolution? You gotta have a reason more than your personal discontent for that, no matter how many "brothers" and "sisters" you think you have on your side. I've been there and done that!! You've got to have a more intelligent plan than just "hang loose" or "chill out" or whatever. And the "establishment" you want to overthrow is a helluva lot more powerful now than it was back in the late 1960's. A lot more hi-tech. And they already have the military on their side, so . . . you're starting waaaayyyy on the downside of this "revolutionary cycle", if there is one. One recommendation I have. With all due respect, go somewhere and have your temper tantrum if you need to, without getting yourself in trouble with the law, and then return to your problem with a more constructive thought. Pursue an "inside straight", meaning, get an education, a formal one from a licensed and certified school and university. You have a lot of energy. That's easy to see, so use it constructively. Pursue a professional career of high quality. Get your degrees and licenses and then get your job. Earn your money, and do your time in the system, profiting from it economically and intelligently. Learn the system. Know the system. Work the system. Beat the system. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. Street marches and riots, etc., are "no brainers", that's why they went "no where" in the larger picture. They made noise, and they made names, but that's all they did. Your day will come, the day when the system works more within your level of satisfaction than it does now, but you can't get somethin' for nothin'. My generation tried. Hadn't you seen how many have failed in that direction. And one day, some people may be voting for YOU in an election. Wow!! But then, watch for the "revolutionaries". There's always those nuts in a crowd, and then they'll be aiming for you. Get to work. The world eagerly awaits your product, and God Bless you!!!

Well, ordinary revolutions won't work any more, you don't have enough resources, do you, so if you were really smart, you could revolutionize the whole of your society from WITHIN, remember the pen is mightier than the sword.
You need to re-think your strategy, you can't beat city hall or established government, the organized society you live in has all the toys and resources, so you have to outsmart them by joining them, using their OWN toys, and making smart changes inside, so they are part of the game. Get elected.
Remember life is a game. Don't get blackballed, murdered, or declared a total lunatic in the process.

In America, there is a revolution every two years. If you really want to make a difference, get active in politics, and you'll get experience in how to change the country. Even though you sound like a crackpot, I'd rather have you in Congress than most of the overreaching, venal stooges that represent us these days. Do me a favor; on election day, vote for the better bum.

Well it can't be done as many were in the past. The easiest way is always to get a grass roots movement and get the people to agree with you. 2nd easiest is to get the military to agree with you.
Revolution of course won't solve many of the problems you stated and things would be very bad for a long time after IF they ever got better.

Sun Tzu: "Before one can expect victory in battle, one must create the conditions for victory."
The best way would be to convince our lazy fellow Americans who don't vote, don't write their congressman, etc. that the reason we have these problems in America is because too many of our citizens let our slimy politicians get away with it.
Vote in the elections and vote with your dollars. Change will come.

We don't need to overthrow the whole government, just choose one issue and you will get followers. Look at Cindy Sheehan for a modern example.

Dont you think that we could solve everything if we all got a person of power (One who is working for the government) And got them in bed. THey would all need to be empeached then we could stage a revolt. Yay we win.

reard works of Karl Marx and Lenin.
they have this necessary condition for revolution:
the top can't, and the bottom doesn't want to go on living as before.
So you basically have to wait till society gets to this stage (or push it there), then take the lead in resulting riots.
Or you can smoke your pot quietly and enjoy your life as it is.
