Depends, am I or is my family starving to death without the paycheck? And how directly in conflict is my job with my morals? It can be a tricky one for sure!

You have to get to survive! No money no food you die! Even shelters get money! So no money no food you die! If your dead what good are ehthics? Solve the paycheck problem then worry about ethics! Pollution free electric power has been all over our Gov. Millions of high wage jobs to build electric power plants. Millions more jobs to build electric roads to use the clean power for electric cars and trucks. 2 nations and 1US state pay not tax the residents. Kuwait pays $58,000 y, no rent, utilites, phone, hospital, or income tax bills! I know it's oil! Oil is just 1 of thousands of commodities. With all the commodities in your state why aren't you getting paid? With all the resources of the Feds why aren't they paying 50 times better than Alaska. Wtih all 3 systems working right now; why aren't the Feds taking the best from each system and doing better than Kuwaities at paying US! If doing right is ethical then this is ethics 404 with a paycheck you get to keep ALL of!

Both.

Ethics in the workplace are vitally important...and almost a nonexistant part of the modern corporate conglomerates that make up American business by and large.

I've noticed also, 9 out of 10 unethical companies.....have very little to do with decent paychecks.

Ethics in a corporation generally equal higher pay.

Anyways, that's why I own my own. That way, I determine what the company ethics are, as well as my income.

With a belly full of Fish & Chips, I would say Ethics. However if I"m starving it may lead to selecting a paycheck.

Ethics when people are concerned. If people get hurt in the process, I tend to avoid the process. There are professions that pay pretty well without twisting good ethics.

ethics. I already quit two jobs where the owners were pretty unscrupulous. Anything to make a buck. One of them probably cleared .6 million yearly himself and still felt the need to do things unethically. I confronted them and they were none too happy. 2 days later, I told them not to look for my return.
