I have to say the Discus Thrower, if I am going to be just standin around for a few hundred years, I need something to throw at people... I would throw it at the thinker, and break his train of thought... hhaha....... kisses...

The statue that presided over the 1893 World's Fair here in Chicago, Illinois, would be my most favorite choice. It stood on shore yet intimately close to the twin buildings that were on the South and North of each other. Now we only have the lone building, which is the Museum of Science and Industry at 55th and Lake Michigan. The water has all been re-introduced back into Lake Michigan which back in 1893, was midway between both buildings as a separator straits. I love my Chicago history. Still, the lady statue is magnificent. Peace and God Bless.

The passionate love of Francesca da Rimini and Paolo Malatesta was a theme which Rodin used to inspire The Kiss. Although it was originally intended to be part of the Gates of Hell, Rodin did not feel that it fit and removed the figures to make them an individual statue. The form of the lovers emerges from the highlights and shadows of the statue. Light and shade were used by Rodin to create an impression of actuality.

I would be Molly McGuire, she is on McConnell Street right in the heart of Dublin, Ireland where she can see all the people go by. Dublin is such a lively city and Ireland is such a beautiful country, I just think that she is the one I would want to be.
