England for sure. Don't forget Neville and Ferdinand, and as Man Utd fan also we still have some loyalty to Beckham as well. (not his fault he left.) Besides I lost all respect for Argentina with that goal and drug cheat Maradona. It was his Hand of God goal that cost England in the 1986 World Cup. Time for some payback.

Easy one. I am a Scot. Let me say that again: I AM A SCOT and that means that if England win I have to endure the British media ranting on endlessly about it for ANOTHER forty years. Only Scots know how mind-bendingly irritating that will be.
But if England play Argentina, I will support England.
England have a whole bunch of skillful players who work hard to make the game exciting and enjoyable. Argentina have skillful players who waste their skill creating petty disturbances, trying to create fouls, arguing with the ref, doing dirty tackles. They don't do sport. England do sport. England are easy to like. Argentina are difficult not to despise.

After one game each, I would say Argentina. They were playing the tougher opponent, and I loved the way Riquelme was playing, he was in complete controll of the game. I've always thought England was a bit overrated anyways.

You should support Argentina. They shut up and play instead of complaining about the heat in Germany and matches that have been over for 20 years.
