Dear friend,
fisrt of all u have to sleep enogh....dont smoke(or try make it less),have a good nutrition...and if u do some sport it will be better...
secound u have to avoid sun shine ...its better if u use sun protection cream which has the SPF ove than 25% ...any kind of course some brands are better ....and every3 hrs renew the cream if u are out of home or office....and even use them if its not a shiny day...
third always wash ur face with some good soap(not cosmetic) after u removing ur make up....cuz make up damage our skin and even some remover use it too.....
forth....usually hydratate ur skin with the cream(its better if u try to use some brand that are not cosmetic brands )....
First Q is how old are u and of course male or female and which nationality u have?
-The acne treatment depends on what kind of acne u have...we have many differen treatment for therm...
-First Step is avoid sun shine...u can use some protection cream which has the SPF over than 25%...then if u are a smoker have to decrease the number of them....decrease the fat food u take(oily.fast food.chips...)....drink enough water (more than 2 lits a day)....wash ur face with no bacter soap(at least twice a day)...if u are a girl dont use bad brand of make up stuff and wash ur make up as soon as possible(even if u use removal cream ).....if u start any mild sport like areobic or even jogging it will make ur skin better....take good nutrition and vegetable....
-secound we have some locolize solution ...they are antibactrial like erythromycin 1% and ....u can use them once every 2 nights on ur acnes(avoid 2 cm around ur eyes and 2 cm around ur mouth including ur nasolabial lines)....
-third u can use systemic antibiotics like tetracyclin or doxi by the order of ur G.P or dermatologist....
-if non of them work or u have cystic acne with scar u have to use a drug calls Actane its full of Vit A , it has his own order and u just can have it by a dermatolog ...
-we have some other treatments like Microdermabration(its usefull for black spots),pilling(deep and superficial) for make the acne and the scar of them goes....
its better if u visit a dermatologist.
Good Luck
P.S:proactive is just a comercial brand ...not very useful
at last are u pregnant or not?or u wanna be pregnant?if u are not sure ab ur pregnancy go to lab and have a blood B-HCG test to be sure...and if u planing to get pregannt ...visit a dermatologist

Ask your doctor if there are any prescription creams that won't affect the baby. My son is 16 and the doctor prescribed a couple of creams that helped his acne tremendously. Neutrogena and Aveeno make some good facial washes that can help. Wash your face no more than twice a day. Any more will actually cause your skin to produce more oil. Try using witch hazel as a toner after washing. I've tried it and it does help dry up acne. Unfortunately, hormones can aggravate acne and there's not much you can do about that.

hi. im 24 and i have the same problem. i started getting acne when i was 19 years old. i used proactive and in couple of months it cleared out. so proactive is not for everyone. but you do need to keep in mind that stress is the #1 cause of acne. i went through a lot of stress this past year and even using proactive my acne came back. i then stopped using proactive and just washed my face with mild soap. after couple of months i went back on proactive. now my face is clearing up. so you can always go back and try proactive again. see if it works.

I'd definitely consult with a dermatologist, but in the meantime, I found a really good product that has pretty well kept my face acne-free. It's l'Oreal Pure Zone. It's a skin balancing cleanser. It sounds kind of funny, but I find that when I use it, it feels different on my skin - immediately noticeable. It's inexpensive and widely available at food stores and pharmacies and store like K-Mart. It might be worth a try since you're pregnant and don't want to take any drugs. I hope this helps. Good luck!

The pill causes a kind of weird hormone balance so your chance of getting pregnant would reduce. Now that your off the normal hormones of estrogen and progesterone are doing their work
of preparing your body and sometimes heightend levels of either hormone lead to acne for your face. The hormones make your skin just more oily which leads to increase chance of your pores getting clogged. You might be able to reduce some acne by washing your face with soap and water twice a day in the morning and night and do it gently and consistenly.
Biore has a great line of products to treat pimples. It's non medicated, they are just to clean the skin better.
I recommend also to avoid any oily creams.
Also i know this may sound insane, but don't focus too much on your pimples. They are not part of you and cannot shape your personality unless you focus yourself too much on them. So relax and do something nice for yourself something you will really enjoy or really need.
hope this helps :)

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.
Source:
A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

I recently had a son and I had the same problem. I had acne on my face and back. I tried proactive and it didn't work. So i went to see a dermatoglist and she started the micro-dermabarse treatments and some chemical peals on my face and back. She said that it would take up to 6months for my hormones to get back to normal after I had my son. so wait six months after delivery.

ProActive this stuff really works. You can a kiosk in alot of malls these days. This is if you don't want to wait on the mail order process. You may also want to drink more water and watch the types of foods that you consume. Do you drink alot of Soda? if so drink more juice and water.

My best friend had no acne until she got pregnant but she had to wait until she had the baby just for her skin to heal and to use Proactive.Plus just drinking a lot of water and eating better can help your skin some. The only thing made her feel better by looking up baby clothes and shoes, etc. That is the only thing that help her feel better by doing things that made her think of her baby. That is the best thing I can tell you.

Did you try that Proactive Solutions? Or something like it? I use the Proactive system and I really like, they have a gentle formula solution maybe you could try or see your doctor?. I wish you the best on your expecting pregnancy.
