The so called "Hand of God" was in Mexico 1986. But Argentina didn't win the World Cup with the "Hand of God", they knocked England out in the quarter-finals with the "Hand of God". Personally I don't believe in God, in my opinion it was Maradona's hand that knocked England out in 1986, it was nothing to do with God, who incidentally doesn't exist.

At the time I didn't like Maradona because he cheated, but I must admit that I have never seen anybody with the individual skill that Maradona had. For me he is the best player in the world ever, and that is how I remember him.

I look at the handball in 1986 as a slight blemish on a footballers career, who was as near a perfect footballer as you can get.
