God created the Heavens and the Earth. There isn't a shred of evidence to say otherwise. Science can even say how old the Earth is, only guess. Sure there has been things like carbon dating, but that is only accurate to a point. It is based on an assumption of how much actual carbon 13 was there at that time. We can't even come close to being sure of that.
The more science I have learned, the less I can see that there is an alternative to creation. Every theory that has come, has been forced to go by the wayside or changed just to be changed again.
Face it people, how can you look at things created in nature and not see that we can't explain everything. Some things are just beyond our comprehension.

I'm an atheist, but I'm not going to answer your question because you already know what I am going to say, and you've already decided that I am wrong. It's sad really, that the way you have phrased your question really precludes any possiblity for rational consideration of any response you may receive.
Of course, I could be wrong about my assumptions about you and how you think or why you asked this question and in this manner, but my experience with all other theists who have posed this selfsame question tells me that it is a waste of my effort.
And I expect that you (or someone silmilar to you) is now saying "I was right, the atheist is not answering because deep inside she knows she has no leg to stand on--and that means I am right! Yay!" To that I say, beleive what you want...but beleiving such is just a another example of limited thinking (Which incidentially, is part of the answer to the original question.)
And now I've said more than I really wanted to say, so Adieu.

You came from a random meeting of one egg and one of a million spermazoa, and when you die, your molecules will return to the random nothingness from whence they came. No one knows 'who' made the universe, but man's existence is like a grain of sand in all the earth's beaches, from the Perspective of the Universie, you do not exist.
In response to the answerer above regarding science not being able to explain everything, it reminds me of the movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy,” a native in the Kalahari Desert encounters technology for the first time--in the shape of a Coke bottle. I found this to be very amusing, but I also began to see parallels between his thought process, and that of the modern day Theist. Both are using CAVEMAN LOGIC to explain their world. I fail to see the difference between “hmm, bottle fall from sky, must be gods” and “hmm, trees, beautiful sunset, the earth & sun and butterflies prove the existence of god.”
In both of these cases, someone is simply replacing one unknown for another unknown, but proving nothing!

I don't know why you only want to hear from them--they're just going to make everything have a scientific explanation--I learned science too, but kept my religious beliefs separate from what I had to know to pass in school.
