Both, but more B&W. BTW, I'm a guy, and I've heard guys dream less in color than do gals. Anyone know about that?
I wanted to add to this comment. My dreams in color are always more vivid both in the dream itself and in the colors which are always somehow seem more vivid or deeper hued than what I see in waking sight.
The most amazing dream colors I've dreamed were unlike any colors I can describe or compare to. It was like I was seeing new colors that have no counterpart in waking sight.

Colour. Always. I smell and hear and taste things in my dreams too. Some people aren't sure they do. I've never had a black and white dream. My dad said he once had a dream that had a black frame around every image for some weird reason. Do some people dream in black and white? I guess we assume to some degree that everyone's dreams have at least a common base, but maybe not. Maybe everyone sees everything crazily different in reality too!

From all that I remember I tend to dream in color. I don't recall dreaming in black and white. I've had wierd dreams where I see white everywhere, but even those are filled with some small accents of color. I've never really known what it means to dream in color or black and white, but I guess it depends on different people. I think the way people think or are depends on what times of dreams people have. As for me, I always tend to have dreams on whatever happened to me that day or something I've though of, other's could have shades of colors reflect their dreams.

I dream in colour - but some people do dream in black and white. Americans of course dream in color - they're very colorful; unlike us English who are more reserved and only colourful when we want to be....

Colour. It would be awful to dream in black and white, how boring! I wonder why people dream in black and white. Can someone else answering this question enlighten me?

In colour. I dream about a holiday camp a lot, with a big bank to sit on, and sometimes I dream about a windmill and flowers that look like a cartoon. That is a very pretty dream.

Colour. Dreams are created from the memory of images you have previously seen or created from your imagination. As long as you see and imagine in colour then your dreams will be in colour.

I dream in colour with lots of red. Everyone is different. It doesn't make any difference if it is at night or not.
