i have tried to do this but not sure why it does not work

Go to http://www.yahoo.com
click on Tools->Internet Options->click on "Use Current"..

You can go to Yahoo.com and click the thing in the top left corner that says make yahoo.com my homepage. Or you can go to the Tools pulldown menu in Internet Explorer, Netscape, or whatever thing you have, and click Internet Options. Go to the space that says homepage and delete AOL and type in www.yahoo.com

Assuming your are using Internet Explorer, go to the Yahoo.com home page. Click on the Tools selection of Internet Explorer menu, and select Internet Options. Click on the button that says "Use Current". This makes the page you are currently on (yahoo.com) into your home page.

Select Tools->Internet Options when in the browser. Select Options. Change the home page field to yahoo.com

On a Midrosoft computer, go to tools on the toolbar and click Internet Options. A box will say in it www.aol.com, erase it and put www.yahoo.com. If it says that your need your system admin, see a computer store.

You don't have to remove the AOL page you just add Yahoo as your home-page and you've got it.

go to tools in the toolbar click Internet option then enter the URL then click OK
