My sister is really stupid, and she told me that Timothy McVeigh was a terrorist!!
But we all know that is impossible because he wasn't Muslim.. And we all know that only Muslims can be terrorists!
And that terrorist is only another name for Muslim.

Well I can see by your name that you are a dumb American! But you don't REALLY think that only Muslims can be terrorists, do you? That would be beyond dumb. Anyone from anywhere could be a terrorist. I have no idea who this Timothy fellow is though. But not being a Muslim doesn't mean he can't be a terrorist.
I am not sure if you are actually being serious with some of the stupid people on here, or if you are just pretending to be dumb.
If you are being serious then your sister isn't half as stupid as you.

Terrorism is primarily a form of violence undertaken (by individuals, groups, or states) against civilians for political or ideological purposes. and a Terrorist is somone who does these acts so Timothy McVeigh is a terrorist.

Any person, who causes as much destruction as Timothy McVeigh, would be a Terrorist.
We consider him a "Domestic Terrorist". He wasnt doing this for "Religious reason", he was doing what he did because of his hatred for the Government and what they did at Waco, to the Branch Davidians...(No, he wasnt part of thier group, but, it was a place in order to "vent" his hatred of established Government, because he had so much hatred in him).
Your Sister was right, and she is not stupid!

Timothy McVeigh was a terrorist yes. I don't think he was part of any religious group. I don't ever remember him reporting "I did this because ___________ told me to" ie: allah, mohammed, God, etc.
