I have been a gamer for over 15 years and it gets annoying for me at times when a game is too easy.

I am mainly into rpg's, platformers and shooting games however I do also play on action/adventure and strategy games as well.

What is the hardest game you know of that are any of these genres on the ps2, ps1, DS or GBA?

I agree with that other guy... DDR is like trying to walk on air. That is the hardest game I have ever played. The easiest game I have played would be either 007:Nightfire or the early stages of Tekken 2. In the early stages, your attacks hurt like stone and your opponents hurt like tissue paper.

Well I realise this isn't the best answer but they do allow us to BUY PS2 games via PSN store. Ok the list is fairly basic with few true classics/ decent titles like Red Faction and Max Payne being recent additions. and the faxct we have to REPURCHASE old games we may own is a bit mean, but to be honest I find even PS2 games very dissapointing and graphically inferior. The difference between PS2 and PS3 graphics is shocking. I guess it makes more money as these are aroun £7 (or $10) each

I seem to remember Saga Frontier (PS1) was a bit rock, though a wrong turn early in the game could often mean you'd have to start a new game. Wild Arms 2 could be kinda tough at the end if, like me, you like to get EVERYTHING. Keys are in short supply compared to the first Wild Arms, and there's a lot of doors to be unlocked. Other than that I'd recommend getting a cheap PC, an internet connection and download a SNES emulator.

Currently the hardest game on PS2 is Guitar Heros!

I'm going through it on Expert, and although I'm one of those who finds music games really easy (Completed 4 different versions of Donky Konga) even I'm struggling on this one!

I just need to grow another finger to hit the fifth button on the controller (shaped like a guitar) and I'll be ok!

If you want a tough handheald game, try Mercury on the PSP. You'd rip your hair out trying some of the levels in that!

Megaman anniversary and some of the old sonic games. There are some games that were released in anniversary collections that I've played since I was a kid that I STILL can't beat after more than a decade. *Bubsy I* But for PS2...the hardest ones would be rerelases of old games or games with really bad control...or just plain bad games...

Go play the megaman anniversary edition. Old school and tough as nails. There's a reason there's a hardcore generation of gamers. Also if your into RPG's then go get a 360 and play Oblivion.... .by far the best game I have every played and I've been playing since atari and colecovision

You can get Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes for free from this link: http://bitly.com/1uSG3w3

In this release, someone of Cipher, a secret organization, tells Kaz that Paz is alive and that she is in a prison camp called Camp Omega.
It's a great game.
