My lower back hurts and I think it is from my trampoline. Cross country starts in two weeks! How do I make it stop hurting?

Rest and do some stretches. If it still bothers you after a few days see a doctor. I would also try icing it for 20 then put a heating pad on it for another 20. Switch back and forth. If you can find someone, maybe have them massage it. That would help your back relax.

Do some stretches...like stand in front of your door place one hand on either side of the doorknob and bend your knees. I have one of those yoga/pilates dvd's that helped me too. When you go to sleep place a pillow under your knees, while laying on your back and of course you can always apply a heating pad to your back and take a tylenol.

Hope these helps u!

Peace

tai chi.... i took a class and was surprized how great my back felt.. now everytime.. i feel my back hurting i will do my tai chi moves for a while.. it re aligns the back...the move that helps the most is having a correct stance... with your hips tucked under and knees bent...and head straight ahead...
