Tue fans, will follow the team no matter what. The bandwagon people, we'll see them again in South Africa 2010. And yes, the team should have played better. Getting beating 3-0 is not good for a team as good as the US. No matter who the opponent is.

I have to agree with another post...people in the US don't really care. Yes, there are a few soccer fans but it's nothing compared to Europe and the rest of the world.
So, there was no set back because the were no advancements. Just too much optimism.

At least 8 years, back to the disaster that was 1998. The disaster may not be complete if we can salvage something against Italy and Ghana.

Well it showed how unprepared the USA was, we thought that since we had Beastley and Donovan it would be over but it wasnt. But then again they lost to the number 2 ranked team. It gave us a reality check and we need to prepare agaisnt the next game vs Itlay
GO USA !!!!!!!

Now I don't feel as bad for my team loosing 0-2 (Poland). U.S.A. did even worse than that. Makes me feel better even if for the moment. LOL.
