Want to here if anyone has purchased make-up from a TV advertisement, and if so what is the best product that you have purchased and a true testimate of it being exactly as described. Including any skin care product.

I purchased the alexis vogel system from tv and i love it. My makeup as improved 100%. I learned that a little goes a long way. I learned how to do the cat eye loo, the smokey eye look and i learned how to get he JLO glow or that celebrity glow.

I have bought a bunch of things and some have come out great and some did not. For example, Bare Escentuals was a joke. Moments after applying BE, my skin started itching. Also, it was way too expensive. I also bought Proactive and that did not work either. My suggestion is to look at the reviews of the products before purchasing them. Try makeupalley.com to see whether the product is listed and if so, what is the average and what people say about it. I am a sucker when it comes to TV commercials too, but I do not purchase anything without first checking other people's reviews.

All Vichy products are good.. But of course especially on skin products it is different for everyone. Maybe Vichy works for me but Loreal is the best for you. You can never know without trying. I tried every product for my skin problem but finally AVON could solve it. And about make up products of course on advertisements they are cooler. Especially lip glosses seem much more shiny etc on tv. But again AVON and Loreal has nice products which are pretty close to how they seem on tv....

i have purchased naturalglow some time back. this is a face powder. it worked ok but wouldnt use it again to highly priced for what it was.
