The way you put it, no. It is not worth existing for anything like that.

However, life is way more complex than that.

And you know it in your heart.

As was said above me, we don't really have a choice, but what is the alternative? Would you rather never be born? Then you wouldn't appreciate the fact that you weren't born anyway, so.....

Would you rather not die? Live forever? THEN life wouldn't be worth living. If you live forever, what would be the point? You know you have forever, so you never strive to do what you might have done had you known you'd die. Even if you stayed young forever, I think life would get really boring after a few hundred years.

My opinion is- Life ends. We know that, and therefore must live it to it's fullest while we have it. Life is a gift. I don't believe in heaven, so I have to believe that I can make my life the best I can while I'm still alive. I will try to do that. I hope you will to, because a wasted life won't do you, or anyone who knows you any good. Good luck.

I don't remember being born. I won't remember dying. All I know is this experience we call life. It may not be much to some, but it's more than I can ever completely grasp. Sometimes I take a look at the patterns in the branches of trees. Sometimes I try to feed a squirrel and it bites my finger. No, the latter's not a good feeling, but it really makes you wonder why things happen the way you do. It leads you on a search for knowledge and understanding. You may never quite get to enlightenment, but you learn something new everyday. Living day to day, I don't think I'll ever die. I can't imagine it. Someday death will probably come for me, but there's no point in hunting it down when there is so much of life already screaming for your attention.

Many people take their lives for granted. You will have positive people and negative people. Often times people will compare their lives with a half a glass of water. The positive people will say "my glass is half full" while the negative people will say" my glass is half empty".

Do some investigative work on your own. Make a list of all the bad stuff in your life and what can you rectify or change to make your life more tolerable? Then make a list of all the positives in your life. Acknowledge your accomplishments you have achieved. By doing these two things it gives you a awareness of how bad or good your life is.

Be more happy and content with yourself. Talk to a close relative or friend or your pastor or priest or even go to a psychologist or therapist. Talking out your problems to someone who is willing to listen is a great way for you or anyone to effectively help you.

I hope I was able to help you. Good luck!

Yeah, it sure is. But the beautiful thing is, you can choose anything. If you think its bad and you don't want to see a way out of the cycle through living. You can die. Human bodies are frail, ultimately. Choose to live. Choose suicide. Choose a mansion, choose poverty. Its great. We have the choice. Free will is a beautiful thing.
But I believe the experiences afforded from living are worth this frail and often painful existence.

Is there a value to human existence? Why do you human beings exist? Is our existence, our life, nothing but a random event? Do cows have a value or a purpose in life. Why not? What's underlying in your question is 'why do humans exist?"

Is our existence, our life, nothing but a random event, the leaf
blowing in the wind, the ripple in the stream? If we suggest that there is a meaning or value superimposed on human life, what is the mysterious power that imbues our life with such a purpose or value? If this obscure power does exist, how does it manifest itself? If this obscure power does not manifest itself to humans in any objective form, it does not exist as far as humans are concerned. Therefore, it cannot convey a preordained or predestined value to our life.

Biology defines human beings as animals. Do other animals have a meaning or value attached to their life? If only human life has meaning, what is it that sets humans apart from other animals? The great apes are the first cousins of humans. Is there a value attached to their life? Does a cow, a pig or a monkey have a value ascribed to its life, except to serve as food for humans?

In the perpetual struggle for survival, all living organisms are
constantly engaged in a battle for limited resources. Lower life forms have little control over their inherently hostile environment. Only man has evolved rational thought processes. Among animals, only man can utilize his rational mind to achieve a higher degree of survival and security in an inherently insecure world.

Living is not some passive activity.
It's not a passing event or terminus.

We make our life important
through care and art.

Yes, I would stay here forever.
If you can't find reasons for living that's really sad.

For people not thinking about it, I guess it is.
For those that are, only creating what they feel is worthy is worth existing for.
