Well, it's nothing very special. Try to be nice to people. Avoid eating fats. Read a good book every now and then. Get some walking in, and try to live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.

Why are we here? What's life all about?
Is God really real, or is there some doubt?
Well, tonight, we're going to sort it all out,
For, tonight, it's 'The Meaning of Life'.
What's the point of all this hoax?
Is it the chicken and the egg time? Are we just yolks?
Or, perhaps, we're just one of God's little jokes.
Well, ça c'est 'The Meaning of Life'.
Is life just a game where we make up the rules
While we're searching for something to say,
Or are we just simply spiralling coils
Of self-replicating DN-- nay, nay, nay, nay, nay, nay, nay.
What is life? What is our fate?
Is there a Heaven and Hell? Do we reincarnate?
Is mankind evolving, or is it too late?
Well, tonight, here's 'The Meaning of Life'.
For millions, this 'life' is a sad vale of tears,
Sitting 'round with really nothing to say
While the scientists say we're just simply spiralling coils
Of self-replicating DN-- nay, nay, nay, nay, nay, nay, nay.
So, just why-- why are we here,
And just what-- what-- what-- what do we fear?
Well, ce soir, for a change, it will all be made clear,
For this is 'The Meaning of Life'. C'est le sens de la vie.
This is 'The Meaning of Life'.
~Monty Python~

Not directly it isn't. But the meaning of life is there.
The "Hitchhiker" series tells us that we need to keep our minds open, because while we are busy searching for the meaning of life we may miss the answer, because the question may be framed in a reference other than what we expect.
What this sort of boils down to is the following: We need to seek the meaning, and we need to be open to hearing the answer as well as the question.

I just answered a question like this. You choose the meaning of your life. No one can tell you what it is because they are living their own life.

The meaning of life is to worship and be with God
the whole of humanity has a desire to live for ever religious or otherwise.
That is because God originally gave that to Adam and Eve but they got tempted and sinned against God so He took it away from them and x amount of years later Jesus gave it back to all of those who believe in Him.
So it is to be with God and live forever

Why does it have to have a meaning? To mean something, an expression requires to be answered. If you can find meaning in your own life then you will answer your own question.

Each individual have a different concept of life.
For me the meaning of life is learn to fit in this world...
Identify what exactly are we skilled for and develop as much as possible ourselves to coexist in our little piece of this world with harmony and sense... When we reach a mature mind (no specific age for that) to make a family with that special one...
Teach all this in detail to your kids while forming and educate them to understand...
Finally, take enough care of yourself to be able to see the results in them and die in peace...
This is it for me...
