No, why weird? Sometimes younger people are more fun!
If you like them and enjoy spending your time with them - there is nothing weird!

Not really no, but they are probably so happy to be hanging around you as well bc you are "older and wiser". That is why everything you say is funny - it is a case of hero worship on their part - esp if you are all still teens. This tendency does seem to disappear once we hit our 20s bc age gaps mean less as far as maturity and independence go. It is fine to hang out with them if you are having fun, but just make sure that you don't revert and slow down in your own growing up. Try to make some friends your own age as well. You may find that if something really important or traumatic in your life happens, these younger friends really won't be able to understand you on an emotional level. They will not have reached the same level of maturity and well of experience to pull from than a closer aged peer would, even though they seem fun to hang out with. Having a friend who is a peer and close to your own age can be invaluable. But no, there is nothing wrong with you!

No, it's not weird at all. There is nothing wrong with it. You just happen to enjoy life and that is great. So what if they are younger, if you are happy when you're around them then you've chosen the right friends! I'm 28 and have some younger friends and relate to them just as well as friends my age. You're right, they are fun to be around! They keep me young and giggly! Don't worry, this is TOTALLY okay! Have a great day!

I know how you feel. I have two friends at work that are 5-10 years younger than I am and I have such a blast with them. They are smart girls who have their head on straight. We can laugh at the same things and we have great friendships. The people that are my age or older are not as interesting or are not into the same things I am. I think it's just all about connecting with the right people.

It's not wierd, but I believe you may have a desire to be in power. By your comment about them laughing at anything you say sounds like you prefer to be in control. The fact that they are all younger than you gives you the feeling of power and control and that is what makes you happy.

Of course not, friendship doesn't have an age. I tutor a student who is in eighth grade and I'm 19 and I consider her a friend just like I consider my co-workers who are 60-80 years old friends too, friendship doesn't have an age.

I don't think this is at all weird because maybe you like these groups of people equally but you just like certain things about each group. I think you enjoy hanging out with the younger poeple because they are just like you used to be and you want to be kept young.

You're not a weirdo. I think everyone has more fun with their younger friends. You're normal, chill out and have fun with them.

Not sure. My little girls like to hang out with the teenagers because kids their age are in capable of holding actual conversations.
