If you live in the UK, then you should check out The Stage magazine - they always run lots of classifieds that feature extra roles. You can also enrole with an agency, but make sure they are reputable as a lot of agencies take your money up front and never give you work! Channel 4 has a great online feature about becoming an extra, which might be of interest to you!
