sado masochism. It can be as lightweight as spanking and using scarves to gently tie your lover up, to terms like dom and sub, top and bottom and practices like serious bondage, dungeons, etc. S&M relies very heavily on trust between the parties.

Oh grow up and answer the kid...
S& M = Sado/sadisim (ie hurting people for fun and bossing them around) & Masocisim (being a wuss, getting pushed around and hurt).
Insteading of kissing (or combining it) Some adults get sex thrills from being hurt and pushed around or inflicting it on others...
Of then one being the master/mistress and the other a slave or victim...
Often due to something in their childhood...
It ranges from silly stuff like spanking each other on the butt, to tying each other up and whipping each other... to serious nasty stuff like making the submissive (masocist) one drink pee or getting peed on (euuuuu) or worse number two (reallly euuuu).
Or serious hurt ie nailing womething to a piece of wood or crocodile clips on nipples (Imagine a nipple pinch but a 100 times as painful) wearing scarey leather masks .
Sounds mad or horrible... Well so do most people...But if thats what rocks someone's boat (ie they find it fun)... (the rest of the time when not doing icky grown up stuff like that they may be very nice people its just thats how they do advanced kissing.
Here is the really important bit...
They only do it with someone who wants it done to them then thats not so bad for old grown ups ...
Ie deffinetly not for you or teenagers, and never ever with strangers.
Personally I would go no further then the spanky bit and then just messing around if that...
If anyone wanted to whip me or do anything nasty Im like out of there so fast my shoes would catch fire...
However some very nasty bully types who are very bad criminals like doing it to people who don't like to be hurt (like most folk) and like hurting people for real and making them do sex stuff they don't want...
Those are rapists and someone who does it to a child is a peadophile, a very bad person who will hurt you very very bad.
And often wants to keep it a secret and may say it they will hurt parents or you if you tell or take pictures with no clothes on.
This you must get away from by any means no matter how bad and always tell. It maybe a so called good grown up like a policeman, priest, teacher, doctor or nun or member of you family... Also this is what your parents mean by don't get into cars with strangers or take sweeties or go see puppies... Thats what a sex offender is.
But adults who think hurting each other a little but not really hurting (like you would in a boxing/karate match) may be wacky but not bad...They would not want to hurt someone like you... Just like playing dress up in funny black leather and wacking each other or being boss and slave... Like you get to boss your brother or sister areound and make them do the chores and they like you bossing them around.
Anyone who like I said wants to do it to kids or those who dont want to is bad...VERY VERY BAD
Understand the different between people messing around even if into really icky strange and ouchy stuff and nasty people?
Thats what S&M is and why its different to rape and abuse
