There is medication for extreme morning sickness and nausea. Make sure you tell your doctor about it so that he/she can prescribe something for you. My friend had severe morning sickness while she was pregnant, she had to take medication for it but I can't remember what it was called. So consult your doctor so he/she can help you.
Also some prenatal vitamins can increase nausea - check if maybe switching to a different kind can help. My doctor advised me to stick with multivitamins that has folic acid instead of using prenatal vitamins during the first trimester. It helped, and I wasn't nearly as nauseous. I also heard that taking vitamin B6 can help with the nausea, but you have to check with your doctor before taking anything just to make sure that it's okay while pregnant.
Sorry you're not feeling well. Goodluck with your pregnancy though and hopefully you'll find something that will work for you.

Follow these guidelines for minimizing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
Keep food in your stomach, but not too much at once. An empty stomach can make nausea worse. Eat several small meals every day instead of three large meals.
For morning nausea, eat a small snack (like crackers) before rising. Allow a few minutes for the snack to digest, then get out of bed slowly.
Stay hydrated. Drink a lot of fluids. Try a sports hydration drink, as well as water, broth, or juice.
Eat more protein, and cut your fatty food intake.
Avoid smells and foods that make you feel nauseated. Citrus juice, milk, coffee, and caffeinated tea commonly make nausea worse.
Avoid iron supplements, which can make nausea worse. These aren't necessary during the first trimester.
Get lots of rest. Stress and fatigue can make morning sickness worse.
Contact your health professional immediately if you vomit more than 3 times a day or are unable to take fluids, especially if you also have pain, fever, or both.
Ginger will immediately relieve nausea and vomiting. You only need to take it when you're feeling sick

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

first of all don't worry... you and the baby will not starve to death. i had this problem with both of my pregnancies. if you get dehydrated you might need iv therapy. for me even brushing my teeth made me sick. don't use a whitening toothpaste. instead try the plain blue gel. try dry starches like crackers, potatoes, rice, and oatmeal. try drinking ginger ale, it might help. have you talked to the doctor? there are b- vitamins that are believed to help with hyperemesis gravidium (extreme vomiting in pregnancy). also it could be the prenatal vitamins. i used flintstones chewables with iron plus folic acid for a while, but check with your doctor. one positive thing is for most women this subsides by the end of the first trimester. so if you're 2 1/2 months you may be coming out of it soon. as for the weight loss you can make it up later in the pregnancy. the baby will get everything he needs from your body's reserves so he won't be malnourished. if you can't tolerate the vomiting you can use medications. i used phenergan and zofran while i was pregnant. they are both relatively safe, although phenergan will make you sleepy and zofran costs a fortune. they are both by prescription only so see your doctor.

First off, there is no way your baby will starve. He/she will get all they need from your body's reserves.
If you can't even keep down water, you may need the doc to prescribe something, but what helped me was the same type things you would do for the flu. Dry saltine crackers, flat 7-up ( open the can and let it sit until the fizz is gone) weak chicken broth, plain dry bread or pretzels. I just tried anything that would soak up the "acid" and queasy feeling.

I'm 9 wks, too. I find that crackers help...regular saltines, not anything fancy; plain bread helps. Try to drink milk, that also helps my upset stomach sometimes. It's not unusual to lose some weight in the first trimester. Hot decaffinated tea and peppermints are also ways to settle an uneasy stomach.

so far, i have tried phenegan (no help at all. didn't even make me drowsy) and unisom along with B6 (no help there either) and zantac 150mg twice a day (again, no help). Now i am on prevacid and still have no relief. I have come to the conclusion that it will pass in time and i am trying my luck with meals like broths and bland soup. Good Luck!
