i need to give him away and petsmart and petco arnt taking any animals right now so i need animal stores besides those. and i live in america so american stores only please.thank you.

Try a no-kill shelter or advertise in your local newspaper
you don't always have to give your pets to a pet store

You could try the human society because many organizations will keep your pet until someone adopts it. You could also ask friends and family if they want it or put an add in the paper. There are also many locally owned and operated pet stores that are not part of the larger main organizations like Petsmart and Petco.

A friend of mine had the same problem. Ask the people at petco or petsmart if they know of any guinnea pig rescues in your area. You could also take them to a non-kill animal shelter and have them adopted.

Fried Guinea Pig (Ayacucho-style)
1 guinea pig, de-haired, gutted, and cleaned
1/2 c. flour
1/4 - 1/2 t. ground cumin
salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 c. oil
Pat dry the skin of the guinea pig and rub in the cumin, salt, and pepper. Preheat oil. Dust the carcass with the flour and place it on its back in the oil, turning to cook both sides. Alternately, the guinea pig can be cut and fried in quarters.
Serve with boiled potato or boiled manioc root, and a salad of cut tomatoes and slivered onions bathed in lime juice and a bit of salt. Have cold beer on hand.

go to craiglist.com and choose your city (or the closest one to you) on the right side. then on the left side click on 'post to classifieds' then click on 'for sale / wanted' then click 'free stuff' then post with the title FREE GUINEA PIG and basically give it away through there and see if anyone will want it. have you tried giving it to friends? you can take it to the animal shelter but then you might have to pay.

Try the a vet hospital or a humane society. They r very low maintenance pets so it will find a home soon. Good luck!

pacific pets is good its popular ..kinda around where i live ther are lots of places that are in some cities only just drive around looking 4 on eor sell him in the newspaper

Please please do not give it away free to just anyone. People will lie and feed it to their snake. Take it to the humane society or find a small animal rescue. You can post an add on http://www.petfinder.com or also search for a small animal rescue close to you on there.
