Go for a short time and work yourself up each time. Use a small SPF sunblock, they don't block out ALL the sun, just maek sure you don't get burned...

I tanned for the first time ever this year. I have very pale skin! I used P20. Expensive but very good. But don't miss a spot coz I missed a patch and it was badly burnt. Everywhere else was golden though!

I don't think u can do that in the sun, esp if u don't tan fast. I think u shd just use one of these spray on tanning lotions they sell in shops.
You can find lots at boots and superdrug.

You can buy a sun lotion you only apply it once a day, it is for fair skinned people, you tan without burning, its more expensive than normal sun lotion, it cost me about £12. hsiri got it right, it's called P20

only stay in the sun for a little bit at a time until you start getting tan then stay out in the sun for longer the tanner you get.

Sun tan lotion/ tan oils. But tanning is still bad, and is caused by capillaries (tiny blood vessels) exploding. So you could just get a spray-on for safety.

fake it thats better for your skin,otherwise build up a base tan slowly using high factor protection,then gradually lower down.but don't stay in the sun to long.

Use factor 15 sunblock! You will still tan, trust me, I'm a doctor.

just take it slowly... only tan for a few minutes, you will build a base that won't burn
