I would like more rain. I live in the desert. I get it's a euphemism, but here rain is good. Why is rain compared with sadness? Rain is the bringer of life. I think rain gets a bad rap. That being said, my life has much rain and that is why I treasure it so much.

I live in Western Oregon(Eastern Oregon is in the rain shadow of the Cascades and is much drier). Are you kidding? We don't tan, we rust. Do you like how I intersperse factual information with a feeble attempt at humor? Reminds me of that song by Glenn Yarborough, "Baby, the rain must fall." Without the rain we would not appreciate the sunshine.

I have had a few monsoons in my time, but I have yet to be washed away. You just have to swim with the floods and swim into the undertoe to escape it.
