No, but you should rip the cd, not burn it - use Windows Media Player - insert the disc and select rip - follow the onscreen prompts x

I think you are asking whether or not converting your RHCP SA CD to MP3 would ruin the CD.

No it would not ruin the CD but you cant burn it to your computer you can copy then save it and no it wont hurt your actual CD i do it all the time with dell musicmatch jukebox
