I would take the Petunias out for a while. Just long enough to change the soil. But first, cut the mushrooms off with a plastic throw away knife. Then take the potting mix you have in out. And change the potting mix. Then, put the Petunias back in. And watch for mushrooms.

Cut them off and then throw the sissors or knife away. Mushrooms are VERY dangerous, especially wild ones.

Mushrooms grow becyase of bacteria and toxins in your soil-so you really need to remove and destroy and mushroom itself and aerate your soil
