Definately Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The main character was Raoul Duke, played by Depp. Raoul Duke was an alias used by Hunter S. Thompson, who was my favorite author/journalist after I saw the movie. That's my favorite movie of all time, it's so crazy! You can watch it a million times and never get sick of it because you always catch something new. I love the movie, and it couldnt been pulled off without Johnny Depp or Benicio Del Toro. The two will also star in The Rum Diaries, which is based an a book by Hunter S. Thompson also. But that isnt expected to be out until 2008 or so, after Depp finishes filming the rest of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies
Second to Fear and Loathing would have to be Pirates of the Caribbean, Curse of the Black Pearl. Depp plays Jack Sparrow, the oddest, drunkest and coolest pirate of all time. I can't wait until Dead Man's Chest comes out.
Blow would have to come in third, but that was a damn good movie. Couldnt be done as well without Depp.
Johnny Depp is certianly one of my favorite actors. He really brings characters to life in often an interesting and unusual was...a really diverse actor.
P.S. My girlfriend says Don Juan Demarco, because she thinks he is white hot.
Johnny Depp will never go out of Style! Long live the King!

It's hard to pick just one! I love Johnny Depp but I have to say that Finding Neverland was an incredible movie (he played Sir James Matthew Barrie). I also loved Blow (he played George Jung), and Pirates of the Caribbean (Captain Jack Sparrow). An interesting little fact....I was reading an interview with him the other day where he discussed his inspiration for the character Jack Sparrow. Apparently he thought that Keith Richards (Rolling Stones) reminded him the most of how he wanted to play the character, so that's who he is emulating in the movie. When you watch the movie after knowing that it makes sense....love Johnny Depp!

The best movie I've seen with Johnny Depp in it was What's Eating Gilbert Grape. That was the movie that made me realize what I wanted in a man, cheesy as that may sound.

Best Johnny Depp movie? Ed Wood!!! Depp plays Ed Wood, a movie director who just happens to like to dress up in womens clothing. It is a wonderful movie that you can watch over and over again!

I've pretty liked much all his movies so far. He always seems to pick these offbeat roles.
I'll put in a vote for the movie Sleepy Hollow (1999). He played Ichabod Crane and Christina Ricci is really good (and spooky) as Katrina Van Tassel. Check it out.

Secret Window- Mort Rainey- I just thought the story was great, the acting was great, and it flowed smoothly, and was really interesting. I just liked the feel of the movie in general.
Once Upon a Time in Mexico-CIA Agent Sheldon Jeffrey Sands - I just thought, the movie was pretty cool, Not my favorite movie, but i'm also not that big a fan of dep but if i were to pick a movie, this is another one i like him in. The fake arm was awesome, and then when they cut his eyes out and he stood in the street with the gun's , the dramatic effect was awesome. It gave me chills.

Pirates of the Carribean.
Most of the roles he has played are weird characters. In this movie, he's immersed into the Captain Jack Sparrow character; he's in his element; he gets to play weird and at the same time looks like he's really enjoying it. Kind of like how Jim Carrey would have fun in most of his funny roles....and of course, Pirates' special effects and cinematography are just awesome.
