i'm finding i'm not liking her books much lately either. i did like her jack the ripper investigation, but other than that, i haven't liked her books in years.

Too bad.. maybe they feel after so many hit books they can just spit them out and rest on thier laurels. I read a number of her books but they were getting so predictable.
I read a bunch of W.E.B. Griffin as well and he had a couple of books where i thought he might have had a stroke because there were exactly the same.
Maybe it is a matter of style.. they have a style (rut) and stick to it.

i liked her older scarpetta books better than the last 3 but i have still rushed out and brought them as soon as they hit the shops. i didn't like the whole bring benton back it felt like she had nowhere to go so she just returned to an old story line.
