When he was 12 he got kicked while playing soccer. He spent three days in bed barely able to walk because one of the testicles swelled up and caused him a great deal of pain. His parents didn't take him to the hospital but after about three days he was perfectly fine. We both really want to have kids but he is so afraid that he can't have them because of that incident. What are the odds that he won't be able to? Or are we worrying too much?

AND NO he did not tell me that as an excuse!!! He has already volunteered to go the doctor and do everything in his power to see if he is able to have kids!! I hate when people act like they know everything. You have no idea the emotional pain he was in when he told me and how bad he wants them...

Since the day I met my husband, he thought he was infertile. He thought he could have injured his "delicates" playing football and hockey in H.S. Or that he wore Tidy Whiteys and tight jeans too long in the 80's. All of his insecurities and questions went away the day he saw positive HPT. I've heard from several of my friends that it's a guy thing to think that you boys may not be up to speed. I have no idea why but you and him want peace of mind, go to a Dr. & have things checked out.

Wow, that's just ridiculous. I'm not trying to be mean, but your fiancee WILL be able to produce sperm unless his testicals got necrotic and fell off. The only thing you'd have to worry about is the delivery system, and trust me he'd ALREADY know if that were a problem.
Honestly!
Do you people have any concept of anatomy?
He's already had a vasectomy and doesn't want to tell you, so he came up with this lame-*** excuse. That's what I think.

Probably not, my husband got hit there to lol when he was younger and he told me he couldn't have kids well we now have a 7mth old boy! LOL.. So he may not be, if u've tried having a baby for several months and haven't gotten pregnant, u may want to consult ur doctor, it could be him and then again it could be u. But first u should jus try 2 have one if u want one.

Don't worry. I have had mine bashed accidently 12 times or so. My swimmers are OK. I have seen them under a microscope. I don't think you have to worry. He could check them under a microscope 60X power at least to get a good look, or have a doc check them.

Tell him to go and get his sperm tested at the lab to see. The count may be low, but it only takes on sperm to get pregnant.
