427 all aluminum block and heads. Very, very rare car. Even more rare is a ZL-1 Corvette. They made 2 Vettes!
A little more "common" are the L88 vettes. They had the 427 with an iron block and aluminum heads, and ungodly high compression ratio and a big holley 4 bbl. You can some times ID an L88 by the "birdcage" that sticks out of the air cleaner

I always loved the look of those COPO camaros, which I believe the ZL-1 was. Fat (for the time) tires on stock steel rims with a center hub cap. The key word is understated! But yes, 427 cubic inch aluminum big block.

To add to GMiller, there are 2 documented ZL1 1969 Vettes and 69 ZL1 1969 Camaros. There is also 1 1969 Vette that is very well supported to be a true ZL1 factory car but not yet acknowledged as such. To further your useless knowledge the colors of the ZL1 Vettes are Yellow w/black stripes coupe, Black on Black coupe and the 3rd is Orange with Black Vinyl Top.
