oh dear... do you actually know what you are talking about???????

It is called the Da Vinci Code and it was written by Dan Brown.
It is a bestseller and Tom Hanks made a film out of it.
You should read it. It is well worth it!

If only it was true, we - and the Church! - would have a different perception of women and respect them more!!! but it would also mean that we have been fooled by the Church who for so many years hid the truth from us... and that is unacceptable...

Now you want to read it!!!

/The da Vinci Code/ is a novel that was written by Dan Brown and published in 2003. In the story, Professor Robert Langdon is falsely accused of murder and pursued by French authorities as he embarks on a worldwide quest to clear his name and unravel, ostensibly, the greatest cover-up of human history. Brown bases his story on the widely believed (but factually unsupported) rumor that the Biblical figures Jesus and Mary Magdalene had children whose existence was denied and concealed by the Roman Catholic Church.

It is a NOVEL! It is NOT fact. It takes a few pieces of reality and uses them to build the plot. Other than that, it is not contain enough truth to blow your nose in. It is meant a fiction. Read it as such. If you want to waste the money on the movie... I wouldn't recommend it. The poor reviews were well earned.
