Our music currently is entirely synthesized, aside from the vocals. Would a guitar add a dimension to the music?

Check out the Dream weaver album by Gary Wright......not a guitar to be found and very nice sounding. Don't get me wrong, I play guitar and love guitar but you can have a band without one. There's a new band, I tihnk they are called Keen. It's just a singer, drummer and piano player.
