If anyone trusts a politician (republican or democrat)... then you are naive... plain and simple... and that's basically the only defense Bush is giving for this program... he just says "trust me"...
there is no oversight... there is no governing body... he is wiretapping who ever he wants for whatever cause he wants...
Is he just... is he only doing good? I don't know... but I don't trust you or even me to make those kinds of decisions without any oversight... it's nothing personal... it's just keeping on the cards on the table...
NIXON WOULD BE A NATIONAL HERO IF HE WAS PRESIDENT TODAY AND NO ONE WOULD HAVE EVER CAUGHT HIM WITH THESE ATTITUDES...

Bush has nothing to do with this. It's the F.B.I is spying on about 1% of Americans right now. Big deal they have been doing this for years now. But now it's on papper saying it's leagal.

do you have something to hide? if so, it's better they take you off the streets, if not, you won't even know they spied. they don't care if your talking about smoking some weed or your relationship problems. its just a matter of security now. America isn't dead, it just has threats that it never had before or that weren't as likely in the past.

I cannot believe Republicans support this wire taping crap! Dont they believe in government being out of people daily lives..... Talk about flip flopping look at your Republican congress for the last six years.
