A tough choice - but
1) AC/DC - Back In Black - released in 1980, this record does not have one bad song. Many of the songs still played on rock radio today.
Runners Up
Although these two were released in late 1979
2. The Clash - London Calling - although released in 1979 it made the Rolling Stone list (11/89) - Ranked #1 in Rolling Stone's "100 Best Albums Of The Eighties" survey.
3. Pink Floyd's - The Wall - released in December of 1979; so it could of been an 80's album.
And ending my top 5 -
4. Queen - The Game
5. Def Leppard - Pyronmania!

Born in the USA(Bruce's booty was awesome on the album cover)..of course Motley Crue's Too Fast for Love album cover was nice too (Vince Neill's leather pants-frontal view) yummy.

London Calling: The Clash (close on date but see below)
See link and one sentence from it:

Spiritually, if not chronologically (it came out in late December of 1979), "London Calling" was the first record of the 1980s.
