There is a way you can increase your chances of having a boy. First, you need to find out when you are ovulating. Do not have sex for about 4-5 days before you ovulate. Then, when you are ovulating, go at it. It is a proven fact that the sperm that are carrying the male chromosome swim faster to the egg, but they dont live as long. So if you have sex when you are ovulating, your chances of a boy increase. The female sperm live longer, so that is why if you have sex before you ovulate, your chances of a girl increase, b/c the male sperm will have been there, and died, and the female ones are just waiting around. And as for positioning, it is best missionary. While you are on bottom, you have gravity working with you, to bring the sperm closer to your uterus and they dont have to fight gravity to get there.

That is the most retarted thing I have ever heard. ( besides the one I heard yesterday about not taking a bath because it could drown the baby) Ya know, THIS is why our nation is still at the top of teen pregnancy ratings. Our Children are completely ignorant of sexual health.
Okay sweetie..........there is no way of having sex that will guarentee either sex. In the future we may be able to harness genes and such to produce boys or girls but as of right now it's not happening.

The only guaranted way to get pregnant with a boy is to have his sperm analyzed and only boy chromosones are put into your body...invetro fertilization. Doing is doggy style has NO EFFECT on if it's a boy or a girl.

Julie all of your questions are related to pregnancy. You sound very young and you are obsessed with getting pregnant. You have your whole life to be a mother. Marry your boyfriend first and settle into adult married life before bringing a baby into this world.
If your bf and you both want a baby, when it happens, you should be thrilled with whatever the gender turns out to be as long as the baby is healthy!

It is said that your chances of having a boy are greater from doing it DS because the penetration is deeper and since male sperm are slower swimmers it is suppose to increase the chance of them making it all the way to the egg.I don't know if it works but we have a 6mo old girl that we love dearly and in about a year we are going to try for another baby and you can bet we will be doing it DS to get us a boy.Good luck.Let me know if it works for yall.

no, the sex of the baby is genetic and usually determined by the male...but since WW2 almost twice as many boys have been born than girls, probly to make up the difference of men killed in the war...so chances are that you baby will be a boy anyway....

nope. not true. the sex of your baby is based on luck, doing the right thing at the right time. the only problem is you dont know what time the right time is. just get pregnant and pray that your baby is a boy.

No, that is totally mythical!!
There is no sure way of guaranteeing the sex of your baby, unless genetically modified!
It depends on your genes and the Xs and Ys.
Surely your boyfriend would sooner have a happy and healthy baby regardless of the sex!

it's not true
the genes determine the gender of a baby, and there is no relation between which sperm will reach the egg, and the sex position.
it is nonsense to think that there exist a relation b/w them.
